Concept
In this abstract motion piece, the process of breaking up is represented through water and ice. As love starts to fade in a relationship, liquid substances turn frosty and rigid. The flower that once glided freely through the water also freezes up and remains stagnant.
When completely frozen, the ice shatters into bits and pieces, implying that love can never go back to its original form anymore.

Because the hero of this piece is a sphere, our main focus was to give variation on the color, solidity, and the camera angle to diversify the composition.
As the sequence proceeds, the golden hue and aqueous sphere turn cold and rigid. We used displacement, vertex map tag, and material blender node to achieve the transformation process.
